Sierra de Gredos, Spain

Fernando didn’t start with a business plan—he came back to where it all began.

After years working in wineries and hospitality, he returned to his grandfather’s village in the Sierra de Gredos, a rugged mountain region west of Madrid known for its old-vine Garnacha and granite soils. There for the usual people, wine was never just a product, but a way of life—made for the table, not the market.

Among the hills, he found abandoned vineyards with 50+ year-old vines—mostly Garnacha Negra, with small plots of Albillo Real—and slowly brought them back to life, farming everything organically.

Together with his girlfriend (and their dog), he works entirely by hand. Harvest is done box by box, with patience and care. In the cellar, nothing is added, nothing is taken away—native fermentations, old barrels, no shortcuts. Wines clarify nicely by gravity within few just months.

Just pure Sierra de Gredos energy in the glass—wild, fresh, and unapologetically honest.
